On April 13th, the Fruit Expo Center welcomed the opening and trial operation of the park, marking the next step in the development of the tropical fruit industry of Haiken Group and a new level of integration between Haiken Group and Baoting County. On July 25th, the reporter once again walked into the Fruit Expo Center, where various rare fruit trees stood tall and upright, with lush branches and leaves, and fruit trees such as bamboo and red peony were already fruitful. During the scorching summer heat, the construction site in the park also experienced a heatwave, and all parties worked together to promote project construction and ensure that the park could officially open and operate in October.

At the Guobo Center, when the reporter found Zheng Fucong, the chief expert in plant protection of Haiken Nanfan Industry Group, in the Red Hair Germplasm Resource Nursery, his face was covered in sweat, his clothes were already wet, his pants were covered in soil and grass, his notebook was densely filled with the characteristics of various rare fruit trees, and his phone was full of photos of fruit trees with different growth and forms. Nowadays, there are nearly 170 varieties and germplasm resources in the park, and we are building a durian resource garden. We need to seize the time to evaluate the existing rare fruit tree traits and do a good job in development and utilization. Zheng Fucong told reporters that introduction is only a means, not an end. It is necessary to summarize and extract mature local planting experience and technology from the introduction, cultivation, and inspection of new varieties, in order to promote industrial development from a point to an area perspective, Drive the development of high-end fruit tree planting industry in Hainan.

Coincidentally, Xing Chuanku, the operation manager of the Qixianling Global Tropical Fruit Expo Center, was also busy. As soon as he had completed the materials to be submitted to the relevant government departments, he also began to handle matters related to the operation of the park. At present, the operation of the Guobo Center is in its early stages. It is necessary to establish an operation team, establish a marketing system, and formulate various rules and regulations in the park, strengthen business training, and improve employee service levels. Xing Chuanku told reporters that the company is accelerating the investment promotion of properties such as the fruit flagship store, cocoa workshop, Wanguohui, and durian coffee in the park, which will complement the advantages of settled enterprises and enrich commercial formats. At present, the ticketing system has also been put online and is expected to conduct a bidding on August 7th.

The reporter learned that in recent days, Haiken Nanfan Industry Group has organized students from the School of Tropical Agriculture and Forestry of Hainan University to collect and analyze germplasm resources of Rhodiola in the Fruit Expo Center through a combination of industry, academia, and research. Arriving at the Red Hair Germplasm Resource Nursery in the park, Wang Jiaqi, a student from the School of Tropical Agriculture and Forestry of Hainan University, is putting the picked Red Hair Dan into a bag and labeling it with the corresponding number. Different strains of red hair Dan are planted in the park, and we need to go to the park every day to pick mature red hair Dan for experiments. Wang Jiaqi told reporters that they will collect and organize existing red hair Dan germplasm resources, and analyze them from aspects such as leaves, stems and branches, flowers and fruits, recording basic quality indicators such as single fruit weight and soluble solids of a batch of resources.

At present, 95% of the construction of the first phase of the Guobo Center project has been completed, with facilities such as a tourist service center, Wanguohui, parking lot, intelligent nursery, cocoa workshop, etc. being built. The park's commanding heights are building a popular viewing platform, and various construction sites are also undergoing completion work.

Next, Haiken Nanfan Industry Group will take the project construction as an opportunity to practice the "national greatness" and work together with Baoting County to build an industrial chain that integrates the introduction, planting, promotion, trading, and research of tropical fruits and vegetables. It will become a global window for "appreciating new" tropical fruits and an important platform for "tasting" tropical fruits around the world.
